Ohio State Football

Since David had to be "on call" this Saturday for his advisor, I was able to go to the football game between OSU and Northwestern. Despite starting out slowly offensively early in the season, the team seems to be peaking right now as they routed Northwestern 48-7. Although you might have caught the game on TV, there're other things that go on during the game that may not be shown. One such thing is the OSU marching band, which to this point is probably the best marching band I have ever seen. Known as The Best Damn Band In the Land (or TBDBITL), the band never fails to rally the faithful football fans before and during the game. This game was the last home game of the season, so the senior football players got introduced individually for some home town recognition. Anyways, I managed to get some pictures and videos of the activities before the game, so enjoy! :)

View from the nosebleed seats! But in all honesty, all of the seats in the Horseshoe provide a good view of the field.

Brutus fires up the cheerleaders!
TBDBITL makes its appearance! (8.6 megs)
TBDBITL continues to march! (3.1 megs)
TBDBITL performs the legendary Script Ohio! (11.5 megs) However, the video doesn't really do justice in how cool this looks in real life.
A better picture of the final Script Ohio.
The marching band forms the Northwestern logo.
Here comes the Buckeye football team!

Before and during the game, fan break out the "O-H-I-O" chants.
Before kickoff, the O-H-I-O changing starts
During a timeout, the O-H-I-O chant rotates around the horseshoe

The marching band played with a Ray Charles theme during halftime, so here're some of the nifty formations they set up.
Ray Charles' sunglasses?
Very cool script "Ray"
